It’s in the hardest times that we realize how much we have grown.
If it weren’t for these moments, we would never be able to see the lessons learned, the scarred wounds, and the wisdom gained.
Whether it’s because a relationship didn’t work out, a project disappointed you, a discussion went too far, you weren’t chosen, or you failed. You have to recognize that you did it, you gave it a chance and dared to live.
Life passes by when we play it safe and stay afar. Living is for the brave ones who, despite the risk they jump. Not many make it this far, and if they do, they turn back. If you are reading this, you’ve chosen to move forward.
Don’t be ashamed to be broken. We have to break ourselves in order to become more. You had the courage to leave who you were and embark on transforming into who you want to be.
You are in the darkest days. It feels crappy, painful and even lonely. But believe me, you are becoming. You are inviting in more light, more love, more kindness, and more power.
It’s not painless and smooth. It’s bumpy and harsh, but you can do it; this is not your first ride. At a subconscious level, you know you’ve worked lifetimes for this moment, this understanding, this teaching.
So, you are broken? Let’s celebrate because it’s through the cracks that the light comes through.
Soon it will be the Winter Solstice, literally the darkest day of the year. Between December 20th and the 23rd, the Earth’s axis tilts furthest away from the sun, making these the shortest days and longest nights for those of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere. But it’s not darkness that it’s celebrated, it’s the sun’s rebirth, the welcoming of the light!
The you who is in the shadows feels hurt and depleted. Giving up has been considered—I know I did, but you know better. This will make you stronger and wiser, maybe not right now, but it’s coming. You are getting ready to truly be of higher service.
Give yourself some time, and you will see how your fractures will let the light pass to illuminate the new path that is unfolding.
Many times, we hope that life were simpler, less messy, and dramatic. We want to keep everything in place, under control, and “whole,” but only because we forget how easily we get bored and that intrinsically we demand change. At this point, we believe we could have been happy where we were: in that relationship, in the old job, before that project, or whatever it is that didn’t work and has you in this dark spot. However, the truth is that your light was dimming, you felt the urge and jumped. You just forgot or were oblivious that you had to go through all this so you could break the inner light free.
